It'll Be Alright On The Night
The well-loved outtakes show returns to ITV Christmas 2011 after a three-year gap. The celebrated
bloopers programme has been around for over 30 years and the hilariously dry comments of original
presenter Denis Norden are still remembered. Denis fronted the series until 2006, when comedian and
presenter Griff Rhys Jones took over. Now Griff returns with a brand new collection of slip-ups, gaffes and
blunders for the holiday season. The clips feature some of the biggest names and shows on our TV screens.
Even the smoothest and seemingly most unflappable of TV presenters are not immune to the odd fluff – as Griff
reveals. Phillip Schofield and his co-presenter Holly Willoughby pop up alongside Ant and Dec, Bradley Walsh,
Harry Hill and many more. The show also includes clips of some of our most familiar and seasoned actors floundering
over their lines, feeling tonguetied and struggling with the props in a selection from top soaps and dramas including
Doc Martin, Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
